Orthodontics
Your first visit for an orthodontic consultation at our office is going to be comfortable, informative and free! Upon entering, you will be warmly greeted by our team and welcomed into the clinical area after that. There, you will have specialized orthodontic x-rays taken and then go to the consultation area where you can relax in a comfortable chair. Next, you’ll get to meet with the orthodontist and treatment coordinator. The orthodontist will perform a detailed exam of your smile, checking the way your teeth and jaws fit together. This is your opportunity to:
- Share your concerns about your smile and bite. Is there a problem?
- Discuss whether orthodontic treatment is right for you. Am I a candidate?
- Learn about your smile improvement options. What types of treatment can I get?
- Understand the length of treatment. How long will it take?
- Determine the cost of treatment. How much will it cost?
This is your time to ask questions. We want you to be completely comfortable with any orthodontic treatment that is recommended. It is our goal to get you the smile you’ve always wanted and our team is ready to help you make it happen. In fact, if treatment is recommended and you’re ready to get started we can begin treatment the same day to make the most of your time off from work or school and accommodate your busy schedule.
Children’s Dentistry
One of the milestones in a child’s life is their first trip to the dentist! Our experienced, caring team at Georgia Orthodontics & Children’s Dentistry are ready to welcome you and your child when it comes time for their first dental checkup and other pediatric dental services. We recommend children have their first dental exam by 12 months to ensure that they are on the right path to a beautiful, healthy smile.
Creating a fun and comfortable environment is our top priority at Georgia Orthodontics & Children’s Dentistry! We understand that you and your child may be nervous about their first visit and we are focused on treating your child and not just their teeth. Our goal is for you and your child to have a great experience!
During your child’s first visit with our experienced pediatric dentist, Dr. Justin Chong will perform an examination of the mouth, teeth and gums. We will address any and all concerns you may have and may also perform a cleaning and a fluoride treatment to help prevent cavities. If necessary, we may take cavity detecting X-rays. Pediatric dentistry is focused on preventive measures to ensure ongoing dental health, therefore we will also make recommendations for you as a parent on how to best care for your child’s teeth at home.
